Vintage Laura Ashley painted wooden yellow striped and cream/white vintag table lamp

This is a wonderfully classic vintage table lamp. Made for Laura Ashley - classic British High Street store, likely 1980s. Quality painted wooden lamp in white / cream and yellow. Yellow stripes. CLassic candlestick style - wider base, travelling up the stem to the top piece which mimics a candle. Would work beautifully with a cone Empire shaped shade, or could even try bell or drum shaped. Made well back in the day. Underside felt base to prevent scractching and confirming a Laura Ashley design. In very good condition, a handful of small marks to the paintwork in a few places, I have tried to show these on the photos. Working condition but not professionally tested by me (has been pat tested previously). Please have a good look at the photos.
