Vintage Knitting or Craft Folding Basket – wooden frame gorgeous Royal Blue & Emerald Green Basket; retro knitting basket, storage basket

A truly wonderful retro basket for storing your knitting, crocheting, crafting bits and bobs. Wonderful light wood, golden wood, frame which folds away. Holding a very well made royal blue basket, which is lined in the most wonderful oriental inspired green and red floral satin like fabric. A very good size when open so big enough to hold quite a few projects and has little pockets on each side for smaller items.

A piece which wouldn’t look out of sort or unattractive if left out in a living room or kitchen. In fact, I think the piece would get some glowing comments about how lovely it is. Well made, and handmade I think. Looks like someone very talented made the basket piece to fit on the frame.

Yes it is a used and much loved piece so is not pristine. It is in excellent condition and sturdy when open and the basket has no tears or holes in it. The only thing I would point out is that the top edges are a little dusty and where the frame folds up, it can catch the material if you’re not careful and so the bits of fabric which have been caught on occasion are marked too. But none of this is that noticeable and may even be sortable as it were.

Wonderful piece for someone who is crafty minded and wants somewhere handy to keep their bits. Of course, this could be used for other types of storage! Toys, cables, pet accompaniments etc. It is a lovely piece that definitely needs a new home.
