Vintage Italian resin cherub vintage table lamp - vgc, working condition

I think these lamps are so attractive. They are beautifully crafted and carry such a peaceful look about them. Made out of resin, moulded, to depict a classic renaissance look. This one has three cherubs posing, smiling, being joyful and playful. They sit atop a lovely oval moulded base and the tree they lean against becomes the lightbulb holder. The lamp must date to the 70s by the wiring. The bayonet fitment is a little squiff. The whole moulded base is in vgc, but does need a better clean up than I have given it. Someone with more patience and deft fingers will be better than me!. The wiring is working just fine and has done for decades but it is the original so we advise checking, testing and or upgrading it. Many shade shapes will work on a lamp base like this - most likely original shape probably would have been bell or Empire but I think you can go for a elongated cone or drum shape too. Don't you love it when vintage items have such versatility for our modern world! Please see photos and video. very long existing flex as an fyi.
