Vintage Hand Painted Retro Grey and Gold Wall Mirror Unique Bespoke Bevelled. Hangs Either Way.
I bought this as you see it so I cannot verify what type of paint has been used.
This is a 1970s mirror. The wooden frame has been covered in a composite moulding. It originally had a gold finish. Somebody has painted a few coats off what looks like a grey chalk paint. Pierced decoration.
They have then wiped the paint down so the gold underneath shows through and leaves a fantastic contemporary finish.
Good quality original bevelled glass which is very well preserved.
Boarded backing. It has four eyelets and can be hung either way.
This mirror would look fantastic in any room in your contemporary vintage or retro style home. The medium size means it should fit anywhere quite easily and this is a good size not too big and not too small.
