This vintage ceramic lamp was produced by Goodson Lighting Ltd, a British lighting manufacturer known for its stylish and durable lamp designs in the late 20th century. The underside retains the original maker’s label. The lamp base is made from white glazed ceramic, formed into an elegant hexagonal baluster shape with faceted sides and a flared foot. Its crisp white glaze and angular form reflect both classical and modern influences, making it a versatile piece that works well in a variety of interiors.
This lamp is in good vintage condition, with only light signs of age and use, and occasional manufacturing mark. The brass fitting shows some natural tarnish, adding to its vintage charm. It retains its original wiring and has been PAT tested and is sold as working.
The white is a slightly off white so more subtle and easier to blend in that something super bright like a washing powder ad!
