Vintage Gold Table Lamp - working vintage wooden lamp painted in gold, mid century table lamp

A wonderful wooden table lamp with moulding and painted in gold. I date this to be mid century - looking at the wiring - but I can't be sure. It has that super original corded flex on it, new plaug and bayonet is traditional standard brass fitting. The lamp is a lovely shaped wooden lamp - gorgeous lines and turning and some moulding. It is then painted in a gold paint which has chipped in places. It has a super antique shabby chic look about it. It is purporting to be something it isn't - from afar it looks like a high end antique solid metal, gilt table lamp ... but when you get a little closer you see it is a much newer (albeit mid 1900s) wooden lamp shaped and painted lamp, made to look old. Delightfully sweet. Not very big so perfect for a small space. The lightbulb isn't included as these are fragile for postage purposes and everyone's desire for brightness is different. I will however send with the lampshade wire holder in situ to ease you fitting of the perfect shade. Please have a look at photos and video to be sure you like this look. Advice with all vintage lamps is to get them tested by a professional and or upgraded.
