This elegant vintage chest of drawers is a superb example of mid-20th century craftsmanship in the , likely dating from the 1930s to 1950s. It features a stunning burr walnut veneered front with a warm golden tone and beautifully matched symmetrical grain patterns across all four full-width drawers.

The drawer fronts are fitted with their original ornate cast brass backplates and period style drop handles, which retain a mellow aged patina. The chest is topped by a simple yet refined raised back gallery, adding both a decorative and practical touch, helping to keep objects from sliding off the rear edge. Internally, the drawers are clean and structurally sound, lined in a lightly grained pale timber that contrasts attractively with the rich burr walnut exteriors. The drawers all run well.

Delivery is free to mainland England and Wales only.
There will be a cost anywhere else so please, contact us for a quote.
This will cost us between £60-80 to deliver, so if you wish collect from Lewes in East Sussex we will refund the saved courier charges.
The couriers will arrange a day and time window with you.
Delivery is to the front door. Should the item be large the courier will need a hand your end or contact us and we will arrange a more expensive two man delivery.
