Emulate the taste of your great grand parents décor chic with this wonderful Victorian tea set.
There is lots of it so plenty of plates for serving pastries, sandwiches etc.
It is stamped ‘E.Hughes and Co’ China Staffordshire England
A classic floral decorative pattern. This remains vibrant.
Basically in good condition with no chips or cracks.
Conditions are described below.
There are 2 sandwich plates, diameter 23.5 cm, in very good condition.
6 large tea/side plates. Wear to the gold edging but otherwise good condition. 20 cm
6 saucers. Wear to the gold edging but otherwise good condition. 16 cm
Jug and bowl. Both in great condition, however there is staining to the inner lower part of the two bowls.
6 cups, minor staining to the insides and a few patches to the outside.
Not perfect but utterly charming and for the age in good condition.
