Vintage French white painted table lamp, retro table lamp - working

Super French styled table lamp. Candlestick style with delightful wooden carved details, particularly around the base and the stem. Lovely curved lines to it. A lovely sound wooden lamp painted in white. Has the mock candle top to it. The lamp base is still in vgc although the paint has worn in places giving it that shabby chic, aged feel. Perfect for a rustic or country looking decor, but could similarly fit into most decors as the little bit of vintage character. Most shade styles would actually suit it, although I suspect the original shade would have been Bell or Empire line. I date the lamp from the 60s or 70s which means something retro could even be pretty funky with it! The wiring has not been professionally tested - the lamp is working though - but please note that where the on off switch is, you can see the three wires. I would advise these are taped over, checked, tested. The plug looks updated. Please have a good look at photos and video.
