A truly wonderful aquatint of Fores Racing Scrap (published by Ackermann) - by J Harris after Henry Alken. Very lovely racing scene - something like the Grand National. Beautifully framed in a double mount and detailed wooden frame, ready to hang.
The racing scene is finely sketched and painted - colours still quite bright given its age. Some minor marking on the tint. Frame is vg vintage condition although chips on both bottom corners - not that noticeable.
