Vintage flower still life watercolour, in vintage gilt glazed frame - Ethel Pickles

A simply delightful watercolour painting by a Ethel Pickles. Like completed in the 1920s/30s given the age and condition and finish of the frame. Truly wonderful capture of spring flowers. Daffodils, Irises, Blossoms, Nariccis. All set in a brown vase against a muted background. Mounted on plain light brown paper, and then displayed in a wonderful ornate vintage gilt frame. The painting is signed. It is a very attractive still life. The painting has minor markings on it, nothing untoward. The mount as a few more including a bit of water staining on the bottom right. The frame is gorgeous, but it does have missing bits - see three corners. This frame could however be given a bit of a touch up or touch down, and be used - it could be distressed further for that wonderfully antique look. It is a lovely old frame. Glass intact and string attached. I think that the painting as is is completely okay to be hung right now. It is as I say delightful!
