Vintage Early 20th Century Solid Oak Upholstered Stool Footstool.
This is a very early 20th century oak stool.
It is made of solid oak and is still very sturdy.
The wooden frame has a dark stain which is worn in places.
To the round cross stretchers there are some divets and other marks, so please make sure you take a good look at all of the images and utilise the zoom in facility.
I think the upholstery is the original covering and underneath is horsehair stuffing.
The material is very well preserved if slightly age worn.
It sits on a thick piece of wood, so this is very well made an sturdy.
This is a really attractive stool, very practical and oozes vintage charm.
