Vintage Early 20th Century Chunky Oval Decorative Mirror Black and Maroon Hues

A superb late Victorian wall mirror.
Very imposing and very good quality.
The frame is made of wood and has been covered in a moulded gesso with the original painted finish you can see.
The original glass is thick and heavy with a bevelled edge. A few tiny spots that only notice close up so I would describe the mirror for the age as very good.
The main colour is black
Little round drops around the aperture and a scalloped shaped edge.
An almost veneer effect black and maroon finish to bulk of the frame. This looks fantastic.
Plywood backing.
The condition of the frame is very good so please make sure you take a good look at all of the images and utilise the zoom in facility.
The original mirror does feature some black spotting which I hope you can make out in the images. In one area this is quite prevalent. But they actually add some character and age to the mirror
