Fabulous quality solid oak dinky small occasional table, with a newly sanded top, finished in Oil, with an off white, smoky grey shabby chic painted frame. Great size as a small coffee table, or that perfect table next to a chair or sofa for wine glass, coffee mug, remote controls, phone charge, lamp and plant! An incredibly useful table which can easily be moved around and provide an attractive functional surface in a living room, bedroom or even a bathroom.
Table possibly from mid-century as the original look was a dark stained oak. Classic turned legs and a good solid build. This particular table would have originally been part of a nest of table and was the smallest of the three. It can now be repurposed as a single table with a very attractive and more modern makeover.
As mentioned the top has been newly sanded down and oiled. Great to be used now with less chance or staining etc. The frame has been painted in a shabby chic manner - bit French country too - in an off white, smoky white grey colour. It is not a pristine finished paint job. Some of the original dark wood shows through and the finish is rough, bubbled and smooth in various places. This slightly rough finish is great on painted furniture as future chips and scrapes blend in and don't need to be touched up.
Of course the neutral paint finish could also be used as an undercoat if you wanted to paint these tables a different colour to match a certain decor.
This is a lovely little table which can be repurposed in many different rooms for many different uses. Solid oak, sturdy, attractive. What's not to love.
