This exceptional walnut writing desk is a stunning example of craftsmanship from the late 19th or early 20th century. It is not only a visually striking piece but also highly functional, with thoughtful design elements that make it ideal for modern use, such as a sloped surface perfect for laptops.

The desk features ample storage, including three small working drawers within the main compartment and four additional drawers on the right-hand side. On the left are four faux drawer fronts with elegant drop brass handles, complementing the aesthetic. The carved front panel adds a touch of intricate detail, enhancing its timeless appeal.

The top compartment is exquisitely fitted for letter organization and desk essentials, while the leatherette writing surface provides functionality. Note: a rectangular mark on the surface and a thin split beneath it do not affect its structural integrity. Minor marks and filler spots on the top and back are consistent with its age but do not detract from its beauty or usability.

Delivery is free to mainland England and Wales only.

This will cost us between £60-80 so if you wish collect from Lewes in East Sussex we will refund the saved courier charges.
The couriers will arrange a day and time window with you.
Delivery is to the front door. Should the item be large the courier will need a hand your end or contact us and we will arrange a more expensive two man delivery.
It will take about 2 weeks.
