Vintage Cream Alabaster Table Lamp made for Debenhams, Made in Italy - PAT tested, working 1970s/early 80s

A supber vintage table lamp made out of Alabaster, made in Italy and made for Debenhams, the famous British department store. Wonderful shape and colour. The original alabaster has likely been covered in a wax for protection, this over the years gives it a more creamy tinge. Very common of lamps from this time. Labelled underneath fyi. Working and PAT tested. Minor marks and all in all is an excellent vintage lamp with a long cable.

The shape is classic but very well executed. It has super lines and looks elegant. It has the creamy tinge, and being neutral in colour will go in most colour schemes. Whilst being a retro lamp it also has a neo-classical feel (well it was made in Italy!) and is versatile enough in style to go in many decors.

It is a smaller lamp, but is still a very good size for a room. Wonderful with a bold shade or not - depends if you plan to dress it up or down. Long cable if you need to run it to a plugpoint. One or two minor chip like marks, some wax wearing off at the top and other marks or signs of age all commensurate with being a vintage item.
