I googled Elizabethan Sovereign and couldn’t believe the prices, a cup and saucer at £56, it wasn’t even mint. We do things far more reasonably at TrendingVintageRetro
Probably 1960’s.
Beautiful floral gold and dark red decoration.
The condition is excellent with no noticeable wear to the pattern or chips, probably a nicely preserved wedding present. There is a crack to a bowl and a couple of pieces have a few small blue marks, know idea how or what.
Superb quality, condition and monumentally chintzy!
