Vintage Charneca Alabaster traditional table lamp (good size) with superb 1980s vintage shade of green, pink & gold dust working table lamp

Some lamps and shades are just made for eachother and this two piece is one of those! very good condition, vintage alabaster lamp base - hand carved from Charneca in Portugal. Vgc, minor knocks bumps, marks commensurate with age, still looks very good. Lovely traditional onyx base style - square base, bulbous middle, some detail. The shade is wonderful quality, hard, not flimsy like modern shades. Material is hard to do justice in photos - it is a pattern of speckles, flecks, tasteful blotches - all greens, pinks and golds. Very attractive and very 1980s! the shade is in vgc too, it has however some burn marks on the inside (not noticeable from the outside) from a bulb that might have been too hot - check the wattage of the bulb you wish to use. Stands as a very good sized lamp - perfect for hallway, landing, dining room, living room or bedroom. Not a lamp and shade to hideaway. Please note shade may be sent separate or upside down for packaging purposes.
