A beautiful and delicate vintage ceramic lamp base with a hand-painted botanical design in earthy golds and soft browns, this globe-shaped lamp brings refined vintage charm to any space. With its rounded form and warm floral detailing, the lamp echoes the Edwardian and early 20th-century aesthetic, perfect for both traditional and romantic interiors. Likely a 160s or 70s made lamp. Working and fully PAT tested.
The ceramic base features a glossy off-white glaze with brush-painted leaves, grasses, and tendrils, creating a nature-inspired silhouette. It is fitted with a brass bayonet bulb holder (B22) and a white flex. The patina on the brass fitting adds to its aged elegance.
Ideal for a side table, bedroom, or reading nook, this lamp is a statement piece on its own or paired with a soft neutral or pleated shade.
Very good vintage condition; some surface marks consistent with age. Brass fitment is slightly loose, but does not affect the lamp usage - needs a little tightening.
Would look amazing with a modern drum shaped shade, or a cone shaped more traditiol looking shade.
