Vintage Carved Wooden Fold Up Coffee Occasional Table. Middle Far East. Foldaway Folding
Made in the 1980s is this delightful vintage table with bags of character. It splits into two pieces and the base folds up. Fretwork design to the base and to the outer parts of the table with a leaf type motif towards the centre. There are some amazing carved features and to the very middle some inlaid patterns. Please note some inlay as you can see in the images is missing. It has a lovely natural finish, it was probably originally a bit darker but now delightfully aged worn. You can obviously oil or polish if you wish but I think it looks great as is
A nice symmetry to the dimensions, the height and diameter are both 46 centimetres.
