Vintage carved table, lamp table, coffee table, plant stand – carved and slatted two tiered table with finials, Asian table

A lovely little table, a little more interesting and attractive than your standard square coffee table. It has a carved top tier surface, and four turned finials around the top shelf. The bottom shelf is a slatted colonial finish. The wood is a light to medium finished wood – quite rustic and country in look and feel. Sweet table – perfect for a plant stand, lamp table, end table. `without finials it is 40cm tall, and approx. 30cm squared.

The top carved shelf / surface is a slightly lighter colour wood to the rest of the table. I suspect it is a different wood, maybe one that is easier to carved. It has however been added to the remaining wooden table and the overall look is appealing. The top surface / shelf could of course be oiled or stained to match the rest of the table or painted or left as is.

This is a sturdy little table. It stand wells and would definitely hold a plant, lamp etc. Bear in mind the top surface is carved and slatted. You could get a pane of glass cut for the top if you wanted it to be a more level surface.

It is in good condition, it has a rustic finish and can be painted, varnished, oiled etc as you wish. Or left as is. There are some marks on the table in places, including water marks, nicks etc. It is however an incredibly presentable and delightful, small vintage table for immediate use.
