Vintage Brass Metal and Onyx Marble Standard Lamp
This is a very good quality standard lamp.
I am not sure if the stone is onyx or marble but it is very heavy so maybe it is marble.
The metal is very much age worn. The brass decoration is still very much evident on the base but the outside parts of the fluted spiral are more metallic which would suggest the gold decoration has rubbed off.
Problems. It will need rewiring although the bayonet seems fine. There is a smallish chip to the edge of the base, I have shown this in the images and it is very much disguised by the business of the marble streaks and colours.
It is of very fine quality and very stylish.
It is going to cost me nearly £30 to send this because it is over 1.5 metres tall so I have priced this in.
