Vintage Blockwood Acrylic Painting of a German Shepherd / Alsation Dog Portrait - mixed media with pyrography (?) and acrylic paint

Whether you are a dog lover or not, this is a stunning painting of an alsation / german shepherd. It is done in acrylica, and some of the detail of the painting is 'burnt' into the wood giving it an element of relief. The picture is just beautoful, with bright colours and tones, and truly depicting man's best friend. I can't find anything online about this artist, but you may well know a bit more about them. I get the feeling they knew their stuff and this is a good piece. It is painted on smooth dark block wood with a black painted edge. Ready to hang. Occasional wear and tear commensurate with age.
