Vintage Art Deco 30s Wooden Turned Standard Lamp. Working.
This is an exceptionally attractive vintage art deco standard lamp.
I am unsure of the wood I'm afraid to say.
It has been beautifully turned with nice sharp features, which really gives it the wonderful conical art deco look and I can only imagine this was made in the 1930s.
It has a thick finish to it as it was never intended to have a wooden look.
The finishes I'd say is worn in places, but on the whole still well preserved.
It has a very long lead which is obviously a big plus. It is in working order however be mindful of the fact that the wiring is old and well worth getting checked out by an electrician. But seems to have been used for years like this without coming to any harm.
The stand sits on three really sweet bun feet.
This is a beautiful lamp, both very stylish attractive but also not in any shape or form obtrusive so should fit in with any interior decor style.
