Remarkable pair of hand carved wooden African scupltures of a man and a woman. The actual wood used is beautiful with swirls of colour and detail in it. The characters the carvings depict are also attractive and warm - you suspect these are carvings of a couple, a man and a woman. Some lovely detail in them. Can be hung on the wall using the small hols on the rear. A great matching pair for the perfect spot in your house.
In delightful condition - small signs of wear, but overall they are wonderful character pieces of real ethnic art. These are heavy and made to last. They are not cheap reproductions from a cheaper wood. Definitely made and bought overseas to treasure.
