Vintage 80s Composite Moulded Cut Glass Crystal and Gold Effect Table Lamp with Early 20th Century Glass Lampshade.
The base looks have been made in the 1980s. It is made of a composite clear glass like substance and in between are pieces of electroplated gold turnings on some sort of metal. Please note, not real glass.
The base is in good condition. It is in working order and the bayonet, the wiring and the plug are all in good condition.
The lamp shade is a genuine early 20th century glass shade which a previous owner has obviously sourced, this is in very good condition. There is a good weight to the shade as it is of very good quality. Yellowish gold colour to the top. A sort of mottled effect design to the bulk of the shade. You need to take a good look at the images to appreciate as the description really isn't very good!
Together it all goes to make a highly attractive and almost quirky lamp arrangement.
