Vintage 60’s Ornate Oval Gold Gilt Decorative Mirror.
A pretty 1960s gold framed decorative wall mirror. It is made of plaster that is moulded around a wire carcass with the original gold finish. Be made of plaster these mirrors are generally quite delicate and this one is surprisingly well preserved. They are prone to have the gold finish disturbed and the white plaster to shine through. This has happened here in a few places however somebody has stained or blacked over the flaws so they do not notice. As the design is quite fussy the small marks simply get lost in the general appearance.
I would describe the condition as very good and the glass is very well preserved.
There is an eyelet to the back for hanging.
