The frame is of good quality being made of solid wood.
It has been covered in a moulded decoration and originally would have had a gold finish. Somebody has applied a few coats of grey gloss and then rubbed it down to expose some of the original gold underneath and leave a delightful contemporary shabby chic finish.
This is obviously been done quite recently as the condition is very good with just a few minor surface marks.
The glass is well preserved.
It has a boarded backing and is ready to hang.
