Unusual Vintage Teak Cubby Holes Shelves Collector Artisan Display Art Deco.
This really is a very unusual set of storage shelves. I have no idea what they were originally for. However, the concise configuration and nature of them make them an incredibly useful and attractive set of storage shelves for smaller items with the advantage of easy access through the open sides. They would be particularly useful for an artisan to store their tools of the trades, an artist for instance or even needlepoint etc.
What I like about them are the very basic straight line design with the metal handle and feet giving it an almost art deco appearance.
The condition on the whole is good. It is very well made and sturdy. Very heavy mainly due to the thickness of the wood. You will see in the images there are surface marks and scratches but I'm leaving them as I found them as I know whoever buys them may want to paint them or do there own particular finish.
