Unusual vintage spiral and creamy brown onyx (marble) and metal lamp - classical corinthian style, working

A highly unusual designed retro vintage table lamp. The lamp is made out of onyx and metal - a pretty normal combo. But this lamp has spiralled cut creamy brown beige onys as its stem. Quite bonkers to cut onyx in this way .... may even be marble as the colour is unusual. So possibly a marble and metal lamp. The lamp is very corinthian in style with a wide square base, the spiral carved stem/column and then an ornate finial on the top of the stem - also take note of the ornamental wreath around the base. So very Grecian or Roman in style. Quite a statement lamp. The lamp is also in fabulous condition. No chips to the stem, one or two minor ones to the base, some minor pitting to the metal. And a few other signs of age and wear, but nothing to worry about. See photos. The lamp is working but is not professionally tested or upgraded. Just to note that the various elements of the lamp turn, you can easily reposition back into place, the benefit does mean you can choose if the spiral is at right angles or diagonal - could presumably be tightened if you so wish - a minor point but thought I would mention it.
