This would look great in any room in the house and align with most decors. It is ornate, but as the frame is thin, in an understated sort of way.
It actually began life as the central mirror in a grand dressing table triple vanity mirror. The hinge holes have been filled and eyelets and thick string attached. Essentially I suppose it is upcycled.
It was made in the 1960s. The mirror is set within the thin frame and held against the thick boarded backing with small metal clips that you can see to the aperture of the frame that keeps it securely in place.
It has a quality thick bevelled glass which exudes quality and something you simply will not find in modern mirrors. Some very minor marks that only notice on close inspection.
On the whole the condition is very good.
