Original 1960’s shaped mirror. The mirror stands out as it is attached to the thick boarded backing by an adhesive.
Hand painted in Annie Sloan Barcelona Orange. To the sides I have applied three coats of an artist acrylic gold paint and on top of the orange main surface facing you, I have skimmed over with just one coat so the front just really has a hint of gold which I think looks fantastic. Although as I carried out the work, I suppose I wouldn't I.
You decide…. I've taken lots of photographs of this mirror so take a good look and utilise the zoom in facility to see what you think.
The mirror is in good condition and there is an eyelet to the back for hanging.
It is a hand finished mirror and as the finish is not a sprayed factory finish expect minor inconsistencies!
There are a few minor surface marks to the glass that only notice on close inspection.
This is a really unusual mirror I'm finish and very much smacks of the 60s when the mirror would have been made with a contemporary twist to the finish.
