Highly unusual mock lantern table lamp. Likely 1970s. Made in the shape and style of an outdoor Victorian lantern or lamp. Perfectly made with mottled glass piece, removable lid with lovely flame detail, and shaped just like an antique lamp. Sold as working.
Stands well and looks very intriguing and interesting. A real talking point lamp. Made out of solid metal, tarnished and marked with age. Glass is all intact and removable. As is the lid which has some very attractive flame detail on it. The glass pieces and lid may move during transit so please just reinsert. The metal has bent in a few places, one of the sides is slightly skew and the lid needs adjusting to sit flush. But all of this gives the lamp a wonderful charm and sense of authenticity.
It is certainly a different lamp. Great for a moody atmosphere, maybe for an outdoor room or covered area? a home bar? end of a hallway? in a window? definitely a different lamp that is quite simply unusual and attractive.
