Two wonderful heavy quality vintage wooden tables - nest of 2 vintage tables, occasional side tables, vintage tables, plant stands.

This is a lovely nest of mid century hardwood tables - larger and medium ones. Wonderful craftsmanship in the wood turned legs. They are heavy little tables, so perhaps the wood is oak? Not sure. They are in great vintage condition for pieces which have no doubt stood the test of time. Really attractive with original stained and refurbed wooden bases, originally veneered tops which have been stripped back showing the original board, and then sanded and Danish oiled for durability. Giving the tables lovely two tone effect. Perfect for lamps, plants, mug of coffee, book, tablet, remote controls etc etc.

There are delightful signs of age on the table - along the top edges where the stain has naturally flaked off, and on the solid wooden base just from general wear and use. And then the tops which have been stripped and sanded showing variations in wood texture and tone, occasional marks and scratches. All adding to the charm.

Originally a nest of three tables, hence why only three cross stretches - enabling easy removal of the smaller of the two tables - can be displayed either way. Great vintage additions of quality wooden pieces - might be mid century but very much at home in all sorts of interior finishes. Oiled tops will make it very durable and long lasting.
