Two Vintage Blockwood Acrylic Paintings of Owls Portrait (Little Owls, Wildlife) - mixed media with pyrography (?) and acrylic paint

Whether you are a bird / owl lover or not, these are stunning paintings of Owls - I think they might be Little Owls (Athena Noctua). They are done in acrylic, and some of the detail of the paintings is 'burnt' into the wood giving them an element of relief. The pictures are just beautiful, with bright colours and tones, and truly depicting these lovely creatures. I just love the scowl and serious looks on their faces. I like to think that the individual owl is the mum or the dad owl, and the three owls on the other branch are the baby owls - all contemplating what to have for tea, or perhaps the baby owls are being told off! A super set of two paintings which would look wonderful hung next to each other or in the same room. I can't find anything online about this artist, but you may well know a bit more about them. I get the feeling they knew their stuff and these are good pieces. Painted on smooth dark block wood with some edges painted black). Actual paintings are in excellent condition but the blockwoods are suffering sme knocks and bumps commensurate with age and wear. Edges and corners a little worn. One has a small string and so could be ready to hang. The other has some woodblocks to help it hang off the wall, but doesn't yet have a string.
