Two Pair of Vintage Serving Tureens Bowls Bird and Blue and White Decoration.
A fantastic couple of serving tureens. One is late Victorian the other is pre-war.
Whether you are going to use them or simply display them they are both really beautiful ceramic additions to your vintage home.
Little tip for these, they make fantastic serving or fruit bowls, and you can use the lids for decoration on a dresser or somewhere else.
The good news is that they are both basically in good condition with no chips or cracks.
The one with the birds, sorry not sure what sort of bird it is, and pink roses is pre-war there is a stamp, that is smudged, underneath which says Great Britain but other than that I cannot be any more helpful on where it originates from. There Is crazing to the glaze throughout, but this only notices on close inspection and even then I'd say only really adds some authenticity and character. The decoration is well preserved.

The blue and white one is late Victorian very early 20th century. It is stamped Cobridge England ‘Imperial’ Soho Pottery Limited. It is exceedingly attractive. The beautiful decoration is very well preserved and there are no chips or cracks. There is crazing to the glaze throughout and some of this crazing is stained, especially to the bottom of the base.
