A smashing twosome. Not quite a pair as they are different colours, but they are matching in shape, style and size. Likely 1980s. Ceramic quality table lamps. Both with a shiny intact glaze. One is a light grey, and one is a white, although it looks a grey white next to the grey lamp. Apart it would look whiter. Does that make sense?
Super condition - no chips, cracks or crazing to the glazing. Minor production marks or marks commensurate with age, but as you can see in the photos and video, they are actually pretty smart and in vgc.
The lamps are sold as working but have not been professionally tested. They have standard flex, plugs and plastic bayonet fitments. The flex/cable is stained yellow in places.
As they are the traditional ginger jar classic style, they could carry off more traditional shades like Empire or Bell shape, but they could also be brought up to contemporary decor with something a bit mroe mod like a drum shade. Or of course mix and match with style and fabric type. I think they would look super in the same room with some mix and match shades - maybe a grey white combo which them ties the two lamps together and creates a twosome that really does work. Just a thought!
