The quality of the wood and craftsmanship is sublime. Made from walnut, it has a beautiful colour and a wonderful grain.
When purchased, the top had several watermarks that were impossible to disguise. The top has therefore been sanded down to bare wood and treated with three coats of Danish oil to preserve and protect it.
Otherwise, the original tough finish remains intact. The door opens and closes smoothly. There are some surface marks to the interior.
Numerous decorative features give it an impressive aesthetic. The beautiful back decoration is held in place by dowels and lifts off, so it will be sent unattached. It also features its original brass handle and fluted accents on the door.
It is a highly attractive and beautifully constructed piece of furniture.

This will be delivered by hand by a proper furniture courier.
Delivery is free to mainland England and Wales only.
There will be a cost anywhere else so please, contact us for a quote.
This will cost us between £60-80 so if you wish collect from Lewes in East Sussex we will refund the saved courier charges.
The couriers will arrange a day and time window with you.
Delivery is to the front door. Should the item be large the courier will need a hand your end or contact us and we will arrange a more expensive two man delivery.
It will take about 2 weeks.
