This is a lovely quality early to mid 20th century fire screen.
It is constructed of oak so built to a high standard. It is quite a light oak for this period in time as oak normally had a dark stain applied. The lighter oak certainly fits better with modern décor.
It remains glazed still. The glass is very heavy which helps it stand well.
The oak frame and legs are well preserved and in very good condition.
Beautiful handmade tapestry that remains in excellent condition.
