These are very stylish and quality lamps. Likely from the early 2000s, they have a magnificent industrial look about them. Geometric in design and finished in a brushed steel/metal. Heavy and solid lamp bases, which would look amazing in contemporary or minimalist interiors. They are a very good size lamp, so perfect for a larger space or split across two smaller spaces. Bedside lamps, sideboard lamps, hallway lamps perhaps. Could even be sited in a study or an office. A really different appeal to them. Working and PAT tested.
The base is covered in a black metal and has a felt underside to prevent scratching. The main body of the lamp is a silver nickel brushed steel or metal. I am not sure if the silver piece is actually solid as the lamp definitely has some weight to it. It is finished with a brushed steel stem at the top and a nickel bayonet fitment holder. The cable is antique gold which gives the lamp a more vintage and aged appearance.
Both lamps are in very good condition. Being metal there are some minor marks and signs of wear to them, but overall they are in grand state. Definitely ready to use! Large rectangular / angular shades would work well with these bases. As they are black and silver in colour, the shades could be pretty much any colour, and actually even patterned, so they are versatile for many colour schemes.
