Perfect as an occasional chair anywhere in the house.
Superb quality and condition.
I have no idea if the upholstery is original, it certainly has some age. It is in very good condition and like the frame exceptional quality.
The frame speaks for itself. It is of the highest quality and finish. The mahogany has aged to a warm shade with a striking grain, good patina. Sublime carving work,
Sits on original castors.

The only real blemish is above the right-hand seat the low bar to the back at the ends has some carving where it joins the main upright. The craving to the right-hand side has been lost.
They are very well sprung and importantly comfortable.
