Three lovely old sports teams photos of school boys, likely aged 18, in traditional sports gear for cricket, rugby and football. Smiling with the innocence and arrogance of youth. Black and White photo capturing their names and achievements, mounted on off white backgrounds and then framed. Two in black wooden frames, and one in a natural wooden state. All glazed. The photos date from the mid 1930s. And are of sports teams from Mount Radford Boys School in Exeter, Devon. The school no longer exists . The frames are likely also from this era. Wonderful additions to a pub perhaps? or perhaps you are looking to buy sports memorabilia? Or do you have a connection with the school or one of these young men? Super collection of vintage photos in vintage frames. Condition wise, there s spotting on the mounts and glass, and some of the photos. The frames have a few knocks and chips on them, the black ones more so. Some string is missing at the rear. But these are what they are - delightful vintage photos and vintage frames, the wear and tear gives them charm. With a good clean and tiny bit of tlc, they will be ready to display as examples of historic memorabilia.
