These etchings are exquisite - the detail quite something. They are completed by very well known artists. William Monk and Robert Snodgrass. I have looked long and hard at these and cannot determine if the Monk drawings are originals or prints. If original then more fool me. They are all signed by the artists on the plates. The Snodgrass etching is the National War Memorial in Edinburgh. I am convinced the Monk drawings are of Colleges in Oxbridge but I can't place them. You may know them by sight. The Snodgrass plate has some foxing, the Monks look in vgc. Mounts have some markings and the glazed frames show signs of wear as you would expect. All can be hung easily. I think these are wonderful etchings to display either in the towns/cities they are from, as gifts for people who know them well, collectors of antique etchings, or of the work of Monk and Snodgrass. Truly lovely and well worth keeping and displaying.
