Tall vintage engraved Onyx Alabaster Vintage Table Lamp - white marble style

A slightly more unusual stone lamp - alabaster or onyx or marble?. This one is very tall and elegant and is finished with some engraved and carved detail. Quite attractive actually! A bit more sophisticated and unusual - has a slight south Asian look about it. Maybe it was imported at some point. Retro for sure - 1970s I would say. Love bright white which is why I question it being alabaster. Icy white almost. The carving on the lamp is quite rustic, in fact the top lip may have a piece missing but it really doesn't look like it has - all very unusually done. Definitely marks and small knocks commensurate with age and the type of stone. Would look incredible with a statement lampshade. Maybe something patterned and bonkers and quite large. Hexagonal base. Good length of white cable, standard bayonet and plug. Sold as working but not upgraded or professionally tested.
