This is very much an excellent reproduction of a mid-century solid oak stand. It is a charming blend of practicality and nostalgic design. Its tall structure allows for easy storage of coats, umbrellas, and walking sticks.

It is made of solid pine and is still very sturdy.
This has been painted in a mid-sheen duck egg blue, and this appears to be the prime and exterior coat. Some of the wood it has been painted on is slightly rough in places. The edges have been sanded so you can see some of the pine that comes through, which gives it a lovely shabby chic appearance.

There is a square section to the base with raised parts to stop sticks etc from slipping.
Lovely vintage style iron hooks. Before this is sent, I am going to unscrew the hooks and send them attached separately in a bag attached to the stand, with the screws left in the holes so they do not get lost. Just in case they get knocked in transit.
