Sweet Vintage Retro 50s Crinoline Lady Swans Still Life Hand Painted Fire Screen Guard.

The first thing I will say is that the feet rotate. This is not because they are loose,I have sold close to 50 of these during my time and the feet all rotate so it is not because they are loose.
Certainly a mid 20th century fire screen that has been hand painted with traditional swans and the crinoline lady with birds circling over her.
The decoration has been hand painted which is a lovely feature, and despite some minor signs of wear it is well preserved and the colours still vibrant.
It is a utility build so it is an exterior frame with a oak veneered effect covering over plywood, so it is quite lightweight.
This is an absolutely charming piece and would really add some cheer and life to your fireplace
