Superbly Preserved Vintage Retro Lloyd Loom Style Upholstered Ottoman in Gold and Red.
This is an absolutely superb vintage retro ottoman.
Lloyd Loom style but not a Lloyd Loom.
Apart from some marks to the interior base and a tiny split to the fabric to far right hand side, this is superbly preserved. At probably over 70 years old the only sign of wear is a tiny patch towards the front centre of the cushioned seat where someone has obviously repeatedly sat, but in all honesty you only really notice this close up.
It has the original material, which as I say is well preserved, and a very comfortable cushioning. I have shown the plit in the images.
The carcass frame is obviously made of wood and it therefore has those delightful almost art deco looking handles. Small wooden feet.
The loom is in very good condition with no noticeable problems and again very well preserved original gold finish.
There are just some marks to the inside base which are shown in the images.
This is an outstanding piece with the dual purpose of a seat and storage area. Probably originally meant for the end of the bed put of course would suit anywhere.
