Superb Vintage Mahogany and Walnut Newly Upholstered Stool Cabriole Legs. Piano Dressing Table. Jacquard and Weave
A beautiful late Victorian stool.
A top quality build. Mage of mahogany with distinctive cabriole feet. Below the upholstery and above the legs is a walnut veneer.
It looks to have been stripped and a waxed finish applied.
The wood is well preserved and the stool solid.
There are some vaguely visible cracks to the veneer that have been filled, so please take a good look at all of the images and utilise the zoom facility to get a good look.
The seat has been refurbished and recovered in a lovely jacquard and weave fabric. Plain background, textured and geometric patterns complete this design. Slightly gold and golden green in colour. With its slight sheen, it is a simple but striking fabric choice for this quality stool. Recovered professionally and still in very good condition. Some light marking in places commensurate with age - please see photos. Would fit in well with most decors and many different colour schemes. A classy choice.
