Superb vintage green Onyx Lamp - Large - vgc - working condition, working table lamp, vintage lamp

Superb vintage green onyx lamp. Very good size - tall and standing no a fabulous square base with metal frame and feet. Onyx in particular is a great example of what the stone can be like - deep veins of multi colours running through it. Very noticeable and particularly lovely in this lamp. Great metal detail on the stem and base. This lamp would not look out of place in the grandest of homes. It has class, elegance and opulence about it. Would carry a really good size shade - bell, empire, cone, drum shape - all would work well. Many colours to match with in the base; gold, brown, beige, cream would definitely all work well. Condition is very good. no chips, minor marks etc commensurate with age. Please have a good look at photos and video. The flex is in good shape, as is the bayonet fitment and plug. Works, pat tested in 2023.
