Superb Set Nest of G Plan Retro Coffee Tables Occasional.
A superb set of genuine G plan coffee tables. All three are stamped underneath with the G Plan motif.
Wonderful classic curved and stylish legs, these are all well preserved and in very good condition. You may see a couple of surface marks in the photographs, but these have been subsequently removed although there will of course be minor surface imperfections.
The two smaller tables nest easily underneath the main impressive table. The beauty and the popularity of these nesters is their adaptability. So, for instance you can use the main table as a coffee table and the two other tables dotted sporadically around the room to use as side tables or even plant stands.
There is a video and plenty of images in which I hope some of the imperfections to the top I will mention are shown and explained well. The condition to the tops of the two smaller tables on the whole is very good, there is a round circular black mark to the centre of one of them, again showing in the images.
The top back half and the left hand side half of the table are also in good condition, however to the front right there are some previous water stains and other marks. I don't think these look too bad really all things considered and at the end of the day it is a practical coffee table and if you want it in mint condition you'll probably have to pay a lot more money. At least with a few minor marks you're not going to feel the urge to be overprotective towards the finish and neurotic whenever anyone puts anything on the surface, the term I believe is age worn!
This is an incredibly stylish and now very collectible list of tables on the whole the condition is very good and they are all sturdy. Some wear the top but nothing too bad really.
